James Wardop was a Scottish surgeon specialising in the diseases of the eye. In 1818, he was appointed surgeon-extraordinary to the George IV when Prince Regent and in 1823 would accompany him on his tour of Scotland. This 1819 book is a study of eye disorders particular to horses.
