This volume is bound in red velvet and embroidered on the front with the British Royal coat of arms of 1714-1800, and on the back with the date 1816. It contains 63 poems in 99 different languages, all celebrating the creation of the Holy Alliance in 1815, after Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo. Most of the poems are decorated using colour lithography to reflect the culture of the different countries and languages.
