Syed Muhammad Banda Nawaz, late 17th century.
Khwajah Syed Muhammed (not Ahmed, as labelled) Banda Nawaz Gaisu Daraz (1321-1422), was a famous Sufi saint from India of the Chishti Order. 'Gaisu Daraz' means ‘one with long locks of hair’. He stands facing right on a flower-strewn meadow, holding a flowering sprig and a yellow fruit.
