Emperor Jahandar Shah, c.1780.
Portrait of Muizz al-Din Jahandar Shah, Mughal Emperor (1661–1713), the successor of Bahadur Shah. He is seated on a terrace on a golden throne facing right holding a jewel comprising a ruby and an emerald.
Echoing the previous folio (RCIN 10005069.g), a small dome-shaped painting of a pair of doves by a grassy verge has been inserted onto picture covering the lower right hand margin at the bottom right.

Orange minivet, early 18th century.
Small painting of an orange minivet, or Pericrocotus flammeuson, found in southeast India and Sri Lanka, depicted against a pale blue/green background. The ground is represented by grass and flowering plants in the foreground with the sky as horizontal streaks of blue, purple and white above.
