Painting of an Indian roller (or coracias benghalensis) facing left against a plain background. It stands on a grassy bank with a blue and white streaked sky above.

Two ladies visit a faqir, mid-18th century.
Painting of two ladies visiting a Muslim ascetic (faqir) outside his hut on the banks of a lake. He sits on a rug in a white jama and gold cloak, the ladies kneeling in front, as he tells their fortunes using dice. On the ground beside him are a brush, ink pot and writing board.
