A religious text ascribed to Mir Ali with illuminated thumb pieces and surrounded by 18th century decoration. Additional verses around the edges.
Signed: 'Written by the poor guilty Ali the calligrapher.'

Mughal princess holding a flower by Muhammad Panah, c.1730-40.
An oval painting of the head and torso of a Mughal lady signed by Muhammad Panah, a copy in reverse of the painting on the opposite folio. She stands facing left against a green background and wears a transparent jama, a plumed red embroidered turban and a long strand of pearls with a large pendant. Both hands are raised and in one she holds a sprig of flowers.
